Five basset hounds that were stolen from kennels in South Kilworth have been found
In February this year, five basset hounds were stolen from kennels in South Kilworth near Lutterworth.
They were the latest victims of a growing crime in Leicestershire following a rise in the price of puppies as a result of lockdown.
The theft led to a huge campaign being launched online - and at the weekend, four were originally recovered with the fifth being found late last night in Greater Manchester.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in relation to the bassets and all have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
