Oyinkan Braithwaite: The anime that changed me
Nigerian author Oyinkan Braithwaite was long-listed for the Booker Prize in 2019 for her debut novel My Sister, the Serial Killer.
Oyinkan explains why the Japanese animation, or anime series Violet Evergarden gave her hope during lockdown and why the humour and playful nature of the genre has even transformed her own writing process.
