Ingredient in magic mushrooms may help depression
The psychedelic drug psilocybin, found in magic mushrooms, is as good at reducing symptoms of depression as conventional treatment, a small, early-stage study has suggested. We get the reaction of Dr Matthew Johnson, Professor of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at John Hopkins University in the US, who specialises in this area.
