Portland helicopter sculpture being restored by volunteers
Portland resident Storm Wallace is leading the group of volunteers on a mission to restore a 40-year-old artwork on a hillside on the island.
The design, which is of a Wessex helicopter, was created as tribute to the Fleet Air Arm, which was formerly based on Portland in Dorset.
Storm's partner's father worked on the helicopters and died earlier this year.
Storm said the artwork "meant a lot" to local residents and spoke to 大象传媒 Radio Solent's Steve Harris about how they are going about cleaning the work.
