First ever gay kiss in a UK soap
Michael Cashman who played Colin in EastEnders was involved in the first ever gay kiss in a soap opera back in 1987. It was hugely controversial at the time - the ´óÏó´«Ã½ was innundated with angry letters and phone calls. One newspaper even published Michael's home address, which resulted in bricks being thrown through his window. He spoke to Danny Pike.
