George Floyd: 'Things have changed - but not enough'
A year ago today George Floyd was killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis. Video of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd鈥檚 neck while he gasped for breath triggered widespread protests against racism and police brutality on a scale not seen since the 1960s civil rights movement.
Lawyer, social justice activist and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, Bryan Stevenson, reflects on the past year.
"I don't think we'd have seen a conviction in a year without that growing awareness of the problems we still face."
