Tim Harford introduces How to Vaccinate the World and his expert, Larry Brilliant.

Larry has been warning about the dangers of a pandemic for years. He is a medical doctor who made the journey from hippy in San Francisco, training to be a monk in a Himalayan Ashram, working with the World Health Organisation in India, and helping eradicate smallpox, to running the philanthropic arm of Google.
