Yearbook photo was edited because it was not 'modest'
Riley O'Keefe was surprised to see how her school authorities had added a black bar to her chest in her yearbook photo, as they claim she had not met the school's dress code for modesty. The school district of Bartram Trail High School in Florida, US, told local media the changes were made to ensure the photos met the dress code, which says girls' shirts must be "modest".
Fifteen-year-old Riley describes her reaction when she realised how 80 yearbook photos had been edited in the same way, but that male students' photos had been left unedited despite violating the same standards.
