大象传媒 Belongings 18/06/2021
Bringing people together from our different cultures and communities in Suffolk.
A bumper edition of Belongings this week as we look forward to a busy weekend of events. We hear about Global Rhythms Festival - which would normally happen in Christchurch Park - this year it will be a live stream. The organisers of St Peters St. Market tell us their plans for the first market in a year and we also hear what Suffolk means to different people in our county! We talk to the team ABSOLUTE June Weekender festival, which is a creative industry event to help artists build their careers. As part of the West Suffolk College Untold Heroes event this week, Angelle hosted a conversation with writer Alex Wheatle, who wrote the 大象传媒 Small Axe series, and Leroy Logan, high ranking police officer and founder of Black Police Association, who also featured in this TV series. All the music featured in this weeks show is from artists performing at the GLOBAL Rhythms Festival.
