Over a million Covid-19 vaccinations given in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland
Over a million Covid-19 vaccinations have been given in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Mayur Lakhani from West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group told us about 70% of the local population have received their first dose.
Five pop-up clinics in Leicester are open until Sunday. Those over 18 who are in multi-generational houses, or who are carers for vulnerable people can turn up and get vaccinated.

De Montfort Hall
Eyres Monsell Community Centre
Hamilton Library
Tudor Community Centre
Opening hours are typically 12:00 until 21:00 but people have been advised to check.
