Manny Masih will be celebrating the Windrush Generation ahead of Windrush Day next Tuesday. We'll hear stories of cold weather and cold shoulders; poor wages and poor accommodation AND also how the history is being explored in Primary Schools across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
At the end of diabetes week, we'll hear about a new NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme that aims to motivate people to change lifestyle habits to beat the silent killer of pre-diabetes. A woman in Stroud has lost over 4 stone following the scheme. Diabetes also disproportionately affects people from ethnic minority communities.
And ahead of International Yoga day, Manny is striking a pose and joining an online class!
