Hong Kong: Arrests at pro-democracy Apple Daily
Hundreds of police officers in Hong Kong have raided the offices of the pro-democracy newspaper, Apple Daily. The editor-in-chief and four executives were arrested, accused of breaking China's controversial national security law. Apple Daily, which has been critical of China in the past, is owned by media mogul Jimmy Lai, who is currently in jail and facing a number of charges. Mark Simon is a friend and senior adviser of Jimmy Lai's - he's very worried about what this means for the staff and the paper's future.
