Iran's president-elect Ebrahim Raisi: Nuclear deal must benefit Iran
At his first news conference since his victory in Friday's election, Iran's president-elect Ebrahim Raisi has welcomed the negotiations with world powers aimed at reviving a 2015 nuclear deal, but said they must guarantee Iran's national interests and that the deal would not limit Iran's foreign policy. He also said that Iran's ballistic missile programme and regional issues were not up for discussion.
