Dozens missing in Miami building collapse
Rescue and emergency services are working frantically to find any survivors amongst the rubble of a 12 storey apartment building which collapsed in Miami. The building overlooks the Atlantic Ocean in an area called Surfside.
Officials say one person has died, but around a hundred people remain unaccounted for. The Governor of Florida has declared a state of emergency.
The Mayor of Surfside is Charles Burkett.
"Buildings in America don't fall down like this... There's something very wrong here and we're going to have to find out what is wrong, but that is not for today. Today we're trying to get people out alive."
