Roman Protasevich: Opposition blogger moved from prison to house arrest
Belarusian opposition blogger Roman Protasevich and his partner Sofia Sapega were detained last month when the Ryanair plane they were travelling on was forced to land in Minsk.聽He was taken into custody on suspicion of inciting unrest. They have both now been moved from prison to house arrest, in separate apartments.聽
Their detention led to sanctions being imposed on key parts of Belarus's economy. 聽
