Can employers make staff vaccination mandatory?

The take up of Covid-19 jabs has been generally high as citizens around the world clamour to get their lives back to normal after the pandemic. Airlines, public venues and some workplaces are insisting on proof of vaccine status
before entry. Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley is the latest firm to insist that employees must be vaccinated before entering the office. Publishing giant Bloomsbury and Bank of America are doing the same. But there are some who refuse, often for health or religious reasons. Amongst them are a group of 153 workers at a hospital in Houston, Texas, who have been fired for not having the vaccine.

Sasha Twining speaks to the lawyer who is representing them in this employment case, Jared Woodfill.
