Karen Walls has told 大象传媒 CWR she and her team will continue to wear masks in her Warwickshire hairdressing salon following a rise in numbers of coronavirus case in the local area. She wants to do her bit to keep her clientele safe, many of whom are elderly or living with serious health conditions.
She says she will continue to insist people show proof of vaccination or positive lateral flow tests when requesting appointments in her salon regardless of whether the government change rules on wearing masks.
She says due to the close proximity she works with people, she isn't prepared to take unnecessary risks and will continue to review the situation and has received criticism for her decisions online.
