Britain鈥檚 Kye Whyte finished fifth at the 2019 World Championships and has safely navigated the heats to qualify for the men's semi-finals. In the women's semi-finals, Colombia's Marina Pajon is bidding to become the first rider to win three Olympic gold medals in BMX racing having begun her campaign with three wins from three yesterday; two-time world champion Alise Willoughby also won three from three yesterday. GB's Bethany Shriever, 22, reached the World Championships semi-finals in 2019 and will be looking to go one further in the Olympics for a chance to win a medal.
