Katarina Johnson-Thompson in a competitive competition as she looks to continue GB's steady stream of heptathlon medals. Shot put and 200m events continue in the competition where Johnson-Thompson will face fierce competition from the Rio gold medalist Nafissatou Thiam of Belgium. The women's 400m semi-finals continue with the likes of Brit Jodie Williams looking to make the final. In a heat with Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas, Jodie Williams will be looking for an automatic qualification spot.
There are also medals to be awarded in the women's 300m steeplechase, men's hammer throw, men's 800m final and the men's 200m final where Canada's de Grasse aims to hold off a field with three Americans.
