Team GB's Adam Peaty aims to become the first British swimmer in history to retain an Olympic title as more medal events take place in the pool. Peaty is unbeaten over 100m breaststroke since his debut at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 and has lowered the world record five times. After is arguably the most eagerly anticipated races in the pool at these Games: the women鈥檚 400m freestyle final, which pits America's defending Olympic champion Katie Ledecky against world champion Ariarne Titmus of Australia.
