Vicky Thornley is just the third British woman to reach a single sculls final at the Olympics and none before her have won a medal. It would be a second Olympic medal for a Welsh rower, who has had mixed form since winning silver in the double with Katherine Grainger in Rio. The last race of the Olympic rowing regatta sees GB's men's eight defend their Olympic title. Britain have won at least one rowing gold at every Olympics since 1984 so can the men's eight - featuring 2016 fours gold medallist Moe Sbihi - ensure that record continues?
