Replays from day 13 of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as beach volleyball, boxing, table tennis, football and hockey continue to offer high quality sporting action.

The men's basketball semi-finals are hotting up as the world number one and two sides, the US and Australia respectively, compete for a shot at gold. The US are favourites for the title and have a strong history in the Olympics. Winners of this semi-final will play France or Slovenia, of which the former shocked the American side in the pool stages. France and Slovenia meet in their men's basketball semi-final, with the winners going on to play either the reigning champions, the US, or Australia in the gold medal match. France were able to upset the mighty US in the pool stages and will be favourites in this match. Should Slovenia lose, they will face world number two side Australia for the bronze.

Australia and the US are also in action in the women's football, where they play for the bronze medal. The US made a poor start to the tournament with a shock loss before coming through to the semi-finals. They could not overcome Canada and will now need to win to secure a medal. Sweden were the undoing of Australia, who had performed well to make it to the semi-finals, including a win over GB. The gold medal match is on Friday 6 August.

Watch the opening rounds as Galal Yafai is looking to guarantee GB at least a silver when he takes on Saken Bibossinov of Kazakhstan in the men's flyweight. The Brit is already guaranteed at least a bronze but he will be looking to go one step further at the Kokugikan Arena. Yafai overcame strong opposition in Yosvany Veit铆a of Cuba in the quarter-finals to make it to the medal matches. The winner of this bout will face off against either Tanaka Ryomei of Japan or Carlo Paalam of the Philippines. It will be tough for the host country boxer, with Paalam yet to have a final judge point against him since the round of 32. Also in boxing action is Kellie Anne Harrington of Ireland in the semi-finals of the women's lightweight against Sudaporn Seesondee of Thailand. The number one seed Irish boxer is looking to guarantee herself at least a silver and will face either number three seed Beatriz Ferreira of Brazil or Mira Potkonen of Finland should she progress to the gold medal match. The Brazilian has won her last three bouts each with a 5-0 score from the judges and will be tough opposition should she make it through her semi-final against her Finnish opposition.

Oleksandr Khyzhniak of Ukraine is up against Eumir Marcial in the men's middleweight. The top and fourth ranked seeds respectively are guaranteed at least a bronze but will be looking for a place in the gold medal match. In the other semi-final, number two ranked Gleb Bakshi of the Russian Olympic Committee takes on number three ranked Hebert Sousa of Brazil. Duke Ragan of the US takes on number two seed Albert Batyrgaziev of the Russian Olympic Committee for gold.

Germany and India were competing at the Oi Hockey Stadium in the men's hockey bronze medal match. India and Germany lost their semi-finals and will contest the bronze match on a humid day in Tokyo. Should India secure the bronze medal, it will be their first medal in men's hockey for 41 years when they took gold at the 1980 Moscow games.

Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu of China are looking to win gold in the women's team table tennis. They will need to overcome Mima Ito, Kasumi Ishikawa and Miu Hirano of Japan, who overcame Hong Kong in the semi-finals. Table tennis team tournaments are different to simple doubles or singles competitions.

In the women's beach volleyball semi-finals, the US pairing of Alix Klineman and April Ross take on Anouk Verg茅-D茅pr茅 and Joana Heidrich of Switzerland. The Swiss duo are ranked fourth in the world while the American pair are ranked fifth. Verg茅-D茅pr茅 and Heidrich overcame fellow countrywomen Nina Betschart and Tanja Huberli before toppling Rebecca Cavalcanti Barbosa Silva and Ana Patr铆cia Ramos in the quarter finals.

The winners of the first semi-final will face either Mariafe Artacho del Solar and Taliqua Clancy of Australia or Anastasija Krav膷enoka and T墨na Graudi艈a of Latvia. The Latvian duo are ranked 23rd in the world and beat Brandie Wilkerson and Heather Bransley of Canada in their quarter-final and will be looking for a place in the gold medal match.

In what鈥檚 set to be the standout semi-final of the men鈥檚 beach volleyball competition, Viacheslav Krasilnikov and Oleg Stoyanovskiy of the Russian Olympic Committee take on world number ones Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan of Qatar. The winners will progress into the gold medal match, which begins at 03:30 BST on 6th August.

Competing for a place to play the duo from either Qatar or the Russian Olympic Committee is the pair from Norway, Anders Mol and Christian S酶rum, or Latvian duo Edgars Tocs and M膩rti艈拧 P募avi艈拧. The Norwegians will be favorites for this tie but when a gold medal match is on the line, you never know what can happen. The losers will contest the bronze medal match at 02:00 BST on 6th August.
