Arthur Beale was servicing sailors and explorer鈥檚 needs in London hundreds of years before HMS Warrior, HMS Victory and even Mary Rose took to the water.
After its Shaftesbury Avenue home was sold the Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust offered premises, just yards from the historic ships.
