Campaign to tackle Piddle Path accessibility problem
Campaigners in the Piddle Valley are ramping up pressure to improve the accessibilty of a bridleway that links the communities of Piddlehinton, White Lackington and Piddletrenthide.
The three settlements are linked by the B3143 - a busy narrow road with no footpaths, meaning it's dangerous for pedestrians. But the rural path which is an alternative option, is often impassable in the winter.
A project to improve the bridleway originally stalled because of a lack of finance.
Now, residents are rallying to get the path back on track.
