Is Afghanistan's economy about to collapse?
Experts are warning the suspension of funds by donor nations, alongside the loss of loans from the IMF and World Bank, will create a financial crisis for Afghanistan. Billions was pumped into the country over two decades, but a lot of the money was lost to corruption or mismanagement. Gul Masood Sabit, who served two terms as Afghanistan's deputy finance minister, tells the 大象传媒's Russell Padmore that some of the money was invested in building infrastructure.
