The Electric guitar powered by an invisible energy beam
Chief scientist Ray Simkin demonstrates how EMROD’s power system can beam electricity across a warehouse. Ray explains how their system works before striking some chords on his electric guitar which is powered wirelessly using an electromagnetic beam. Reporter Stacey Knott witnessed this ‘invisible’ energy transfer in person.
This New Zealand based start-up hopes that their system will soon be world record breaking as they attempt to beam energy 1.8 kilometres.
