Liverpool Woman living on La Palma tell of sleepless nights and explosions
Lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano, on the island of La Palma in The Canaries, has been pouring downhill since erupting on Sunday.
It's sent rivers of lava flowing across part of the island - burning through land and cutting off roads, as the flow slowly makes its way down to the coast.
Around 100 homes have so far been destroyed and thousands of people have had to be evacuated and flee their homes.
Claudia Windle is from Liverpool, but has been making her home on the island for the past few years.
She spoke with Paul Salt on Breakfast about what the past few days have been like.
