Mum's sleeping more and more and reacting less and less after a fortnight in hospital
Mum's dementia is noticeably worse after her recent two week stay in hospital. She's got some strength back into her legs, which makes life easier for the carers moving her around. However son Andrew finds it difficult to see how much less 'present' she is, barely noticing him or the chiropodist who comes to cut her nails. For the first time she doesn't react to familiar music, something which - even when she's seemed half asleep - had prompted tapping fingers or wagging feet. Mum and Me: The Dementia Diary was originally broadcast on 大象传媒 Radio Leeds.
