A proposal by a group of twenty residents to pedestrianise Wareham Quay has triggered a mixed reaction.
Currently, the picturesque area is dominated by 27 car parking spaces which would be removed allowing unobstructed views of the riverside setting.
The idea is in its infancy and no application has been sent to Dorset Council with no consultation.
