Kenya鈥檚 Olkaria geothermal power station to bring green power to millions.

The Olkaria geothermal power station in Kenya opened four decades ago. It鈥檚 located in Hell鈥檚 Gate National Park and was originally conceived as a research project. But today it鈥檚 a viable commercial business that generates electricity using steam rising from deep in the ground. And it鈥檚 a renewable source that could bring energy to millions. In the next edition of Africa Daily, Alan Kasujja looks at why this is such a good natural source of energy and how it could be great news for the continent.
