The 21 visit The Turner Prize
It is a prize that has cemented the names of the likes of Damien Hirst - with his cow in formaldehyde, Tracey Emin’s unmade bed with fag ends and dirty knickers, and when Channel 4’s Art Club host Grayson Perry won, he was just a flamboyant potter.
This year the Turner Prize and those nominated is a little different. It is no longer about the individual artist, they are all collectives – groups of artists whose work is more about the creation of the work and their message. So you won’t find five neat sculptures in the gallery this year.
The Turner Prize is on at The Herbert Museum and Art Gallery, Coventry until January 2022 and tickets are free.
The winner will be announced on ´óÏó´«Ã½ on 1st December.
We took four of our 21; Diane, Holly, Kirsty and Sunny to have an exclusive look around and see what they thought.
