About 1 in 14 women have hirsutism, a condition where 'excessive' hair appears in a male pattern on women鈥檚 bodies.
There some medical conditions which can cause moderate or severe hirsutism, the most likely of which is polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, which accounts for 72-82 per cent of all cases. The 大象传媒鈥檚 Millicent Akeyo reports on some of the effects of this condition.
