Boris Johnson to speak at the close of the Conservative Party Conference, on the day the 拢20 Universal Credit uplift ends
The Conservative Party conference draws to a close later, with a keynote speech from Boris Johnson.
Its the first "in person" gathering since his General Election victory almost two years ago, where he'll pledge to turn round the economy despite its ongoing difficulties.
It comes on the day the 20 pounds Universal Credit uplift comes to an end, which has been heavily criticised, including by some from within the party.
Despite the removal of the uplift, rising prices in the shops and recent petrol problems, the Tories remain ahead in the opinion polls.
