A tribute to lives lost by US gun violence
Currently on view at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, an installation of the Gun Violence Memorial. Conceived by聽MASS Design Group and conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas聽in collaboration with gun聽violence prevention groups, the memorial consists of 4 houses, each built of聽700 glass bricks,聽a reference to the average number of lives lost due to gun violence each week in America.
