Alitalia reaches the end of its financial runway
Italy's debt ridden national airline, Alitalia, will be grounded permanently this week and replaced by a new carrier, ITA, which has the state as one of its shareholders.
Patrick Edmond, the managing director of Altair Advisory, an aviation strategy consultancy firm, tells the 大象传媒's Russell Padmore about Alitalia's troubled financial history.
