Trying to work during Kolkata's Durga Puja festival
This is the beginning of India鈥檚 biggest festive seasons with festivals like Navaratri and Dussehra all the way to Diwali, the festival of lights in about a month鈥檚 time. But what does it mean to try and work during the Puja when millions are out on the streets partying till dawn? 大象传媒place commentator Sandip Roy has more.
"The combination of prayers being broadcast, beating drums and songs creates a sort of sonic boom. With people partying on the streets till dawn, it's hard to get anything done during Puja. It's basically a city of 14 million plus in celebration mode."
