Flooding slows traffic in Glasgow
Torrential rain has caused flooding and travel disruption in the west of Scotland.
Social media footage showed abandoned cars and queues of traffic on Glasgow's Great Western Road on Wednesday.
The heavy downpours also led to the cancellation of the opening night of the GlasGlow event at the Botanic Gardens.
Disruption on the rail network on Thursday meant passengers were urged to check their journey before travelling.
