The underwater sculpture forest highlighting climate change
This underwater sculpture forest in Cyprus by artist Jason deCaires Taylor aims to show our relationship with nature and climate change, and also provide a home for marine life. It features over 90 sculptures that include large scale trees based on the golden oak tree endemic to Cyprus and figures of children and businessmen. It aims to shift the focus on marine life and its fragile ecosystem and habitat loss. The project hopes to attract around 50,000 people to the exhibition annually.
