The war in Ethiopia started just over a year ago.
The conflict between forces from the northern Tigray region and the federal government has escalated in recent weeks.
It鈥檚 been caused by various recent political issues.
But it also has it鈥檚 roots in modern history鈥vents that go back more than 100 years.
So, to understand Ethiopia鈥檚 present, do we have to look to the past?
