Greta Thunberg: ‘COP26 watered down the blah, blah, blah’
Greta Thunberg says the outcome of COP26 is a disappointment as there is still no guarantee any temperature rise will be limited to 1.5C.
The climate campaigner told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland "they even succeeded in watering down the blah, blah, blah which is quite an achievement."
Speaking from Sweden, Greta said the Glasgow Climate Pact is open to interpretation and means global emissions could still increase.
With no guarantee that the Paris Agreement will be met, she warned that the small steps forward do not equate to the action needed to stop rising global temperatures.
