Fran has mentored a lot of young people through her hockey club, helping them to develop skills and pathways for employment, and has created a Sports Leadership programme at her club.

In addition, she has brought Back to Hockey to the club to encourage older players to get into the sport, and a Hockey Superheroes scheme to encourage children to play with a superhero theme.

During lockdown, Fran worked to keep the community connected through online challenges and events.
