MPs are to vote on the government's "Plan B" restrictions, designed to slow down the spread of the Omicron Covid variant, while millions more get their booster vaccines.
The latest proposal for a Covid "pass" to get into busy or large venues has proved the most controversial amongst some Tory MPs.
With the Prime Minister under increasing political pressure, and a dangerous byelection later in the week, the size of today's rebellion will be very closely watched.
Boris Johnson has declared an "Omicron emergency" and made a new target to give all adults Covid boosters by the end of the month.
