Kim Jong-un: Ten years as North Korea's Supreme Leader

Kim Jong-un is facing his greatest challenge yet as he prepares to mark 10 years as the leader of North Korea.  His country is in crisis: an already feeble economy has been crippled by sanctions and strict border closures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

There were once hopes that the young dictator would open up to the world, but North Korea is now more isolated than ever. His former Ambassador to Kuwait, who defected to South Korea, has told the ´óÏó´«Ã½ that Mr Kim will have to hold talks with the US and others if his regime is to survive.  Laura Bicker reports on North Korea's Supreme Leader who took power when he was just twenty-seven years old and a chequered decade.
