The middle of a pandemic might be seen as a tough time to launch new ventures, but it seems Southport's new market is doing very well indeed.

It's been open for 6 months and Sefton Council says it's been extremely popular and surpassed all expectations.

The traders are going to be taking a well-earned break soon... as the market will close to allow some final renovations.
