Merseyside mum tell of anguish after Boris 'party'
Boris Johnson is facing numerous calls to resign as Prime Minister after apologising for attending a "bring your own Booze" party during the first lockdown.
He told the commons yesterday that the event was "technically within the rules", but should have realised how it would look to the public.
It's infuriated those who were following the rules to protect others, with some missing huge occasions like big birthdays and anniversaries and as we've heard on this programme, people even had to leave their loved ones to die alone in hospital.
Hayley Smallman lost her 18-year-old daughter Holly in March 2020 and couldn't have a big funeral due to Covid restrictions.
