Singer-songwriter Crystal Asige grew up in Mombasa, Kenya. In her early 20s she was diagnosed with glaucoma, a condition which led to her losing her sight. She is now an advocate for disability rights, and wants to raise awareness of glaucoma in Africa, and improve support for people living with the condition.
