Christmas is always a busy time for the postal service, but when you throw staff absences into the mix due to an increase in Covid cases, the backlog can quickly build up.

But have things settled down now we're a couple of weeks into the new year?

Well it seems not everywhere, with some postcodes in Wirral still making it on to the Royal Mail's most impacted areas list.
