The medals are awarded in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics figure skating event.

France鈥檚 Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron set a new world record score in the rhythm dance so will be favourites. They were silver medallists in 2018 and are four-time world champions, and Olympic gold would be the perfect send-off in their final season of competing. The French duo lead their Russian rivals and current world champions Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov, followed by two American couples. Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue are in third, just as they were in PyeongChang after the rhythm dance 鈥� but then they slipped out of the medals into fourth after errors in their free dance. Madison Chock and Evan Bates will be pushing hard for a medal 鈥� they also have a point to prove after both fell in the free dance in 2018. Britain鈥檚 Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson lie in 10th place, one place behind Sheffield-born Olivia Smart, who now competes for Spain 鈥� she competes with Adrian Diaz. Ayrshire skater Gibson said he was 鈥渟uper proud鈥� of the British couple鈥檚 rhythm dance. 鈥淚 want to remember [our first Olympics] just loving every second, enjoying it all and not looking back with any regrets over what we did, in the preparation or in the performances. And I think so far we've done a good job of that.鈥�
