Brad Hall, Nick Gleeson, Taylor Lawrence and Greg Cackett will be hoping to win Britain’s first bobsleigh medal since the Sochi Games, in which John Jackson’s team were awarded bronze following the eventual disqualification of two Russian sleds for doping violations. The Brits lie 0.31 seconds off the podium after the opening two runs. The leader is German pilot Francesco Friedrich, who is hoping to complete the sport’s first ‘double-double’ by winning two and four-man titles at consecutive Games. He is just three hundredths of a second ahead of compatriot Johannes second. The sled piloted by Canada’s Justin Kripps is third, 0.38 seconds behind Friedrich.
