Canada's Max Parrott looks to complete a double after winning slopestyle gold earlier in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

鈥淚 don't want to sit on my gold medal when I know I can maybe get another one,鈥� said the 27-year-old Parrot, who has overcome Hodgkin鈥檚 Lymphoma since PyeongChang. He topped the qualifying standings, and will be looking to make a point after the judging of his slopestyle win was criticised. Norway鈥檚 Marcus Kleveland, winner at the recent X Games, will be aiming to make amends for failing to even qualify for the slopestyle final. Home hopes lie with 17-year-old former child film star Su Yiming (Yee-ming), who won silver in the slopestyle. Japan鈥檚 Takeru Otsuka is a two-time X Games gold medallist in big air, and was second in the qualifying standings. The USA鈥檚 Red Gerard, the 2018 slopestyle champion, is another who impressed in qualifying, posting the third-highest score.
